Internet Forum, more popularly known as forum, is an online discussion website. It is a modern version of a message or bulletin board, where users from all over the world discuss on different topics ranging from politics to sports. It is a web application that manages accounts created by the users; and also moderates topics and discussions. The users of a forum can create groups of like-minded people, and engage themselves in virtual community activities.

Most Internet forums require users to register before they are allowed to post or perform any activity in the web application. The administrator of the web application controls the whole forum, but there could be moderators who have certain privileges of controlling a discussion or a thread. There are certain rules and policies that an registered user must abide by, and all these policies are intimidated to the user during registration, and one can register only after accepting the terms and policies of a particular forum.
